Leaving on a Jet Plane!

It's finally here. After many ups and downs, many trials and joys and victories, it is finally time to travel. I thought I'd post our schedule here so that you could follow along with us on the trip of a lifetime.

SUNDAY JANUARY 10th
Leave DFW fly to PARIS

MONDAY JAN 11th - THURSDAY JAN 14th
Enjoy Paris, and an extra special excursion surprise for Brooklyn on Wednesday.

FRIDAY, JAN 15th
Arrive in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Travel to Hossanna to meet with the birth family Friday and Saturday

SUNDAY JAN 17th
All the families are due to arrive and officially begin the week.

MONDAY JAN 18th
MEETCHA DAY! We'll have our kids in our arms for a few hours!

TUESDAY JAN 19th
GOTCHA DAY! We'll return to the Transition Home to deliver the care packages for other families in process, and tour where our children have been living. We'll then take the kids back to the hotel with us and they are in our care from that point on!!

WEDNESDAY JAN 20th
EMBASSY APPOINTMENTS. The great hiccup if there is to be one. Pray this appointment is non-eventful! VERY NON EVENTFUL!

THURSDAY JAN 21st
Waiting on paperwork from the Embassy. Shopping, sightseeing, getting to know the kiddos.

FRIDAY JAN 22nd
Paperwork arrives, fly out of Addis at 10pm

SATURDAY JAN 23rd
27.5 hours later - Arrive at DFW airport at 4:40pm Baggage Claim/Terminal E14
The boys are having a rough day getting ready for Mom, Dad, and Big Sis to leave for two weeks, but they're excited to stay in their own beds, avoid the long plane rides, and have the attention of grandparents galore!
The dog and cat are being taken care of by the same generous parents of ours, the laundry is done, the luggage is mostly packed, and it's only 3:32 in the morning. I've got loads of time to spare!
Mind the time difference, but feel free to search us out on skype! We'll attempt to blog from Africa, but there's no guarantees with the power situation!! We love you all! Pray God's provision and protection over our journey!
It's HERE!!!!!!!!!!! Bekeh! Caleb! We're coming babies! Hold on just one more week! We're on our way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
