Because Ethiopia follows the Julian rather than the Gregorian calendar, the Ethiopian people celebrate Christmas on January 7th. So today is Christmas in Ethiopia! 
Bekeh, we opened a few of the presents you received for Christmas and you're going to have so much fun enjoying the blankets, dolls, and other goodies! We hope you've had a wonderful day in the Transition Home celebrating Jesus' birth. I know several of our friends were with you to celebrate today, and I hope you're enjoying the little toys we sent you. We get to start our travel toward you in just 3 days! We're so excited and even with the craziness of packing and getting the house ready, we haven't forgotten that you're the reason for all of it! I can't wait to hold you, kiss your cheeks, rub your legs, comb your hair. It's going to take awhile for you to get used to all the attention you're going to get!!! Merry Christmas baby girl!
Caleb, little dude! Your room is stocked up with toys for you to explore, and your Christmas stockings were overflowing with love and goodies for you! We went to the airport last night and welcomed home your cousin Rhett. He's just your size and age, and you two are going to be life long friends. I can't believe you'll be in my arms in just 11 days! What a blessing! I can only imagine what a little toot you're going to be, and I'm hoping I have the energy to keep up with you, I hear from your nannies that you are a wild boy! Daddy, Brooklyn, and I can't wait to play with you, you're going to get tickled to death little man!! I hope you are loving the little Elmo toys we sent you this week, and just hold on a bit longer, we're almost there! We love you!
I am so excited to follow you to ET!! I will be praying for you and the others in your travel group. (We are praying about the Lord's will regarding adopting again and whether it is to be ET or Rwanda).
